Amanda Brummer is a graduate of The University of Pretoria in South Africa, where she studied Computer Science. She obtained first a B.Sc (Cum Laude), followed by a B.Sc Hons (Cum Laude)
She was involved in software support, consulting and project development for Software AG products with the consulting company SPL (now DiData) for 11 years, followed by a further 5 years with SAS Institute in Cape Town
Since retiring from the corporate world in 2005 to make more time for family life, she has been supporting husband Anton in the role of director of Yonnot (Pty) Ltd, while seeing to the needs of their 3 teenage children.
Anton Brummer has a varied and extensive background in the IT industry, spending 20 years working his way up from technical support, through marketing and eventually on to software sales, heading up the sales division at SAS Institute in South Africa as Sales Director.
Taking a clean break from the corporate world, he started his own sales methodology consulting business “Applied Sales Methods” focusing on the methodology of successful big ticket intangible sales.
He has successfully run Yonnot (Pty) Ltd since its inception in 2002 to operate 13 quick-service franchises, turning over more than R30m pa. This includes a 50% interest in Atka Trading (Pty) Ltd. which owns 4 of the stores.
He enjoys the world of property investments and is constantly looking to expand his portfolio. He relaxes with his hobbies which include running, sailing, cycling, photography and travelling the world with his family.
